Eternal teenager Scootylou from the planet Youthaltania 637 infects Booth 42 with her youthful enthusiasm and Horatio discovers that he and Scootylou are both alumni of the not very distinguished institute of lower learning SkenectU.

Karen Cassady as Scootylou.

Karen is a freelance artist and improviser in Atlanta, Georgia, who performs mainly at Dad’s Garage Theater. She is an ensemble member and teacher at Dad’s Garage and has called it her theatre home for the last 13 years.

While she mainly does live theatre and comedy, she has also done a few television spots for Adult Swim and commercials for Gas South and Aaron’s Appliances.

During the pandemic, she discovered the wild world of TikTok and has built a following on social media of over 3 million. Since then, she has been featured on Buzzfeed, 11 Alive News, This Minute Right Now, and others. She improvises solo comedy sketches involving various characters but is known mainly for her comedic “Teacher” videos across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
