10 Minutes with Andrew Hefler Today Improv

OH MY GOODNESS! Had SO MUCH FUN improvising this beautiful “10 Minutes with Andrew Hefler.” This was one of the more powerful scenes I’ve done. Thanks to Nathaniel Montgomery for the suggestion “A Billionaire and Butler.” Stick around after as Andrew shares some amazing knowledge about letting the scene be anything it wants to be, using emotions and playing dramatic moments, why there are no “pimps” in scenes and why he’s the Longboard Surfer of Improv. Andrew is an amazingly talented scene partner who just gets it. This scene has very little comedy in it but is one I will never forget. We both decided to stay in the scene and let it be more dramatic than comedic, which I loved. He is such a great listener and reacted the whole scene. It was full of so much discovery. He wasn’t afraid of silence and played those moments beautifully. This was truly a beautful scene. I also loved that he used 2 cameras! Follow him on Facebook, his group Grund Színház on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/GrundSzinhaz/ and check out their website www.grundszinhaz.hu. He’s teaching a drop in English class 23 and 30 June 2020 at 7pm UTC/10am LA time. Check it out here: https://www.facebook.com/events/62940…. Wednesdays at 6pm UTC/ 9am LA time is the drop in in Hungarian. They have a 4 day English language improv retreat in wine country in Hungary 10-13 Sept 2020 so definitely check that out.
