10 Minutes with James Kirkland Today Improv

YES YES YES! I had SO MUCH FUN improvising “10 Minutes with James Kirkland.” But then again, why wouldn’t I have? Thanks to Olav Kåre Dønheim for the suggestion of “broken bones.” Stick around after as we talk about Portland, quarantining with your parents, and what’s on Bill Walton’s playlist. This is a great scene demonstrating the balance that can be achieved between relationship and playing “game of the scene.” Also, we got really, really physical, even though we were virtual. I love playing with James! He is such a fun guy and brings such great energy to a show, knows what’s needed and delivers it. He also gives so many gifts and will yes and everything. I really felt we were there in the moment and not worried about what was going to happen next. It just flowed so well. If being a great improvisor isn’t enough, he also authored two books about NBA Hall of Famer Bill Walton and Dave Pasch fighting crime called the The Bill Walton Mysteries-“Friend of the Devil” and “Fire on the Mountain.” Buy them both right now, here: https://amzn.to/3gdLili Follow James on Facebook and Twitter @jamiekirkland and @BillMysteries.
