10 Minutes with Marty Gordon
Today Improv

ARE YOU JOKING ME???? HAD SO MUCH FUN IMPROVISING “10 Minutes with Marty Gordon!!!” Thanks to Sekki Tabasuares for the suggestion “Smoothly done.” Stick around as we talk about how Marty got into improv, taking advantage of the online opportunities, how the church sparked his interest in theater, being an artist and visual thinker, working his way back in a competition improv show to “win” it, and more! Marty is so great! He was such a blast to play with and is so patient, savoring every moment of the scene. I loved using a pen and paper as part of our scene, which is something you couldn’t do onstage unless you planned it. Even though Marty started recently, he is a natural at this and has so much potential that he’s tapping into. He’s playing with David Riley Pustansky and the folks at Extreme Improv, who are doing such great work online. Speaking of David, I highly recommend his book “Extreme Improv Big Book of Improv Games”, which I just picked up last week. It’s got a ton of great games and hints. Follow Marty on Facebook and check out his IG @whatwouldjesusglue Subscribe to youtube.com/todayimprov for all the “10 Minutes with…” videos from amazing improvisors from all over the world as well as more improv stuff.
