Thanks to J Graigory for the suggesiton “You holding?” Stick around after as we talk about how Lauren got into improv, the wonderful David Escobedo, the amazing Daa’iyah Hasan, her love of Zoomprov, picking up on the little things, what makes a great teacher, why she was destined to help people, trusting your scene partner and more. This was one of the most powerful scenes I’ve ever been a part of. So beautiful, so emotional. Lauren is an improv rock star who brings SO MUCH to the scene. She bring her acting talents to the scene and can play both real and grounded and also can be very silly and “out there.” She put on a freaking clinic on how to improvise in this scene. She was crying which made me cry as well and even though it was emotional, it was just so fun too. Lauren is such an amazing performer and also one of the most respected teachers out there. She’s been under the radar because she isn’t from one of the big improv cities but I know people are starting to notice just how incredible she is.
