WHAT A GREAT TIME IT WAS IMPROVISING “10 Minutes with Dick Osborne!!!” Thanks to Jennifer Osborne Prescott for the suggestion “The logo on my walker says “Escape!”” Stick around after as we talk about Dick’s improv mindset, how mistakes are gifts, why he thinks his daughter is “a little bit off”, his lecture series and more. Dick’s daughter Jennifer asked me if I would do a scene with her dad and I said, “Absolutely!!!” So glad I did. He isn’t an improvisor but has an improvisor mindset. He is a fascinating person and it was just such a fun time with him. It just shows you that you don’t need classes or stage time to be a good improvisor! He talks about why he doesn’t use notes when he gives his lectures yet feels really prepared.
