10 Minutes with Sheevani Desai Ignasinski Today Improv

WHAT? WHAT????!!! WHAT!!!!! SO MUCH FUN improvising “10 Minutes with Sheevani Desai Ignasinski!!!” Thanks to Michael Hammertime for the suggestion of “Spell check.” Stick around after the day as we talk about how Sheevani got into improv, her drive to be a “serious actor”, Rise Comedy – Formerly Voodoo Comedy and the impact of Detroit improvisors like Maribeth Monroe, Jaime Moyer, Marc Warzecha, Keegan-Michael Key and, especially Nancy Hayden, have had on her. I never met Sheevani before we did this scene and it was so easy to work with her. She brought some amazing energy right from the start and we had great status play in our scene. She uses character and emotion really well and it’s just so much fun playing with her energy. Like me, she loves to start scenes right in the middle and see where they go. What a great time!
