10 Minutes with Rob Marrocco Jr
Today Improv
OH HELL YES!!! SO MUCH DAMN SILLY FUN improvising “10 Minutes with Rob Marrocco Jr.” Thanks to Jeanette Baity for the suggestion of “Dumpster fire.” Stick around after as we talk about how Rocco (Rob) got into improv, going to crazy town, Jonathan Mangum, knowing what kind of improvisor you are, how this affects his day job, Let’s make a Deal, why he chose Brian Jack to emulate and his list of favorite improvisors and shows, which included Jaime Moyer, Nick Armstrong, Brian James O’Connell, Brian Shortall Opening Night: The Improvised Musical, King Ten and more. I just love Rocco. He’s silly, explosive fun and doesn’t hold back. I got to play a “villian” in this scene and I really loved it. Was a cool take on his part on the suggestion we got. Rocco has an acting background and it shows, as he’s able to access characters and relationships so well. He also is a dynamite listener and I felt that he heard everything I said, which makes it so tremendous for a scene partner. I just loved our scene and talk afterwards.
