10 Minutes with Estevan J Chuy Zarate Today Improv

SO MUCH DAMN FUN improvising “10 Minutes with Estevan J. Chuy Zarate.” Thanks to Jason Hader for the suggestion of “ooze.” Stick around as we talk about Chuy’s journey into improv, playing in a dup with his 17 year old son called “The Project,” what our fathers thought of our improv shows and hear us relive some of our most painful improv guessing game moments Roy Janik suggested we play together and he couldn’t have been more right. Chuy is such an easy person to work with–I especially loved how he used his light in this scene. It added a wonderful eery glow to what was happening. Chuy is one of those people that I connected with right off the bat. We met about 5 minutes before this scene and now I can’t wait to play with him again. He gets it and is so very talented. He also brought in lots of emotion and played the relationship, which is what I love playing. So much fun! Follow him on Facebook, like his improv group People Juneau and like and follow his theatre Hideout Theatre, where he performs regularly. Check him out online in their Maestro shows and message him if you have kids looking to do some improv.
